Your information
TradeMade Software is a trading name of Memorable Green - Unipessoal Lda ("we", "us"), a Portuguese company. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
What this website collects
Visit statistics. Our own analytics record which pages you view, how long you stay, how far you scroll, which booking or contact links you click, the page that referred you, and your approximate location (country, region and city, read from your IP address). We store a one-way scrambled form of your IP address, never the address itself. With your permission, or where a notice is enough and you have not opted out, your browser also keeps a random visitor ID in local storage so we can tell a return visit from a new one, and we look up the network or company your connection comes from once per visit and when you click a booking or contact link. We use this to understand which parts of the site help people and to report our own traffic. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Session recording. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through the page (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, shown as recordings and heatmaps) so we can fix what is confusing. The chat window is masked, so your conversation is never part of a recording. Clarity sets its own cookies.
Where we ask first. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, and the US states of California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington, session recording, the visitor ID and the company lookup stay off unless you allow them. If we cannot tell where you are, we treat you the same way. Elsewhere they run with this notice. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no, wherever you are. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie preferences.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
This site has no advertising trackers.
When you request a software audit
Our free software audit asks about your trade, how many people work in each role, the software you pay for, roughly what you spend on it, your biggest headache with it, which jobs in your business already run on their own, and whether you own the company or decide on its software, then your name, company, email and phone number. We use this only to prepare your customized report, to decide whether we can offer you a free call to go through it, and to talk with you about it. We record whether you ticked each consent box, the exact wording you saw and when. Both boxes are optional and start unticked: we email you about our services, or call and text you using automated technology, only if you said yes.
Everything you share in the audit is held in strict confidence under our one-way confidentiality commitment. We never sell it, and we never share it with any outside company, except the providers listed below that run our systems for us, or where the law requires it. We may use totals combined across many companies, such as what a trade typically spends on software, but never in a way that could identify you.
When you book a call
Calls are booked through our scheduling provider (Cal.com), which collects your name, email and any company details you give on our behalf. We use them to hold the call you booked and follow up about it. If you go on to buy a Blueprint or a build, payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number, and we never sell your information.
When you use the chat
The chat on this site is an AI assistant, not a person. We keep what you type in it, and any details you give (such as your name, email, company, phone number, location, trade and team size), to answer you, book a call you ask for, and follow up. Your messages are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies, and bookings are made through Cal.com. If you ask for a person, we email the conversation to our team so someone can reach out.
If you ask about pricing, the assistant also asks for your phone number and up to three choices: whether we may email you the pricing details and follow up, whether we may text you about your inquiry, and whether we may email you about promotions or discounts. Texts and promotional emails are optional, and saying yes is never a condition of buying anything. We keep a record of each choice, when you made it and the exact question you were asked. We text you only if you said yes: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
When you email us
If you write to contact [at] memorablegreen.com, we keep the message and your contact details to answer you and to keep a record of our conversation.
Recorded calls
We do not record calls or meetings without asking everyone on them first. If we would like to record, we say so at the start, and you are free to say no.
Why we are allowed to use it
- Running a call, Blueprint or project you book, and invoicing it: performance of a contract with you.
- Answering your chat messages and emails, and booking calls you ask for: steps you asked us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries.
- Visit statistics without a visitor ID, server logs and security: our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site.
- Session recording, the visitor ID and the company lookup: your consent where the law requires it; elsewhere our legitimate interest, with a way to opt out.
- Tax and accounting records: compliance with a legal obligation.
Who handles it for us
We never sell your information. These providers process it on our behalf, under written terms that require them to protect it:
- Vercel (United States): hosts this website and the chat.
- Supabase (database servers in the European Union): stores visit statistics, chat conversations and software audit requests.
- Our own analytics collector, code we run on Vercel and Supabase at memorablegreen.com. No analytics company receives that data.
- Microsoft (United States): Microsoft Clarity session recording and heatmaps.
- IPinfo (United States): tells us which network or company an IP address belongs to, so it receives that address.
- Anthropic (United States): the AI model that writes the chat's replies.
- Cal.com (United States): scheduling.
- Stripe (Ireland and United States): payments.
- Hostinger (European Union): our email.
- jsDelivr, a public content delivery network: serves some of the open-source code the site runs on, so it sees your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
Transfers outside Europe
Several of these providers are in the United States. When your information leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in the provider's data processing terms.
How long we keep it
- Chat conversations: 24 months after your last message.
- Emails and inquiries that do not lead to work: up to 3 years after our last contact.
- Software audit answers: up to 3 years after our last contact, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Client records, contracts, invoices and payment records: 10 years, as Portuguese tax and accounting law requires.
- Visit statistics: up to 25 months.
- The visitor ID in your browser: until you clear it or withdraw consent, when we remove it.
- Clarity recordings: Microsoft keeps them for up to 30 days, or up to 13 months for a recording we mark for review.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. They are not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by writing to contact [at] memorablegreen.com. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD). If you are a California resident, you have the rights given by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not sell or share personal information.
